Considering that Playa del Carmen is the municipality with greater development in all of Mexico nowadays, it is imperative to think of high-end infrastructure. The shopping center designed to be in one of the most vibrant areas of the city pretends to work as an urban connection.

The project offers free access from the PlayaCar residential zone as well as from an avenue blooming with tourism that will include a new dolphin aquarium.

The program of the project required to take maximum advantage of the allowed density. With that in mind, we proposed a three-storey shopping center with large roof terraces that can serve as extensions of the restaurants, bars and cafes.

Our scheme seeks to create a semi-enclosed plaza, which becomes a rendezvous for locals and tourists because of the vast offer of gastronomical options.

Regional stone and palm roofs are used to achieve a project that is both contemporary as well as respectful of the existing context.
