At an spectacular site, both due to it's rock formations and vegetation, as well as it's splendid views of the Acapulco bay, a dozen of small apartment units of three levels each, together with six single family villas, are starting to arise, preserving as much as possible the jungle like character of the place.

The scheme of the apartment buildings, whose topography varies enormously on each case, was conceived with a form that would practically be born from the ground, with a pair of walls built with stone from the site, with slightly leaning edges in which the building is visually resting. As an additional element, the topography of the site suggested a special treatment for the roofs, in order to minimize its impact to the constructions above.

For this purpose, a solution of 'floated' roofs in the zone corresponding to the social area of the penthouse is proposed, which will be covered with tropical palm, in an absolutely contemporary fashion. On the other hand, the solution of the six villas, is also based on the contemporary interpretation of the traditional houses of the Mexican pacific coast, trying to preserve the character of the house of the pacific, but giving it a solution and expression according to the times we live in.
