An interesting site with a difficult slope but excellent views suggested a house open to the city.
The requirements of the program resulted in a very uncommon house: master bedroom integrated in the main floor, close to the garage and the kitchen and with a minimum of stairs, as well as a two bedroom apartment with an independent access but integrated to the main house, for usually long family visits.
Open and fluid space, high ceilings in social areas, as well as the incorporation of certain works of art as part of the project were other equally important issues.
From the main access, the murmur of the fountain receives the visitor, who will discover the house in a sequence of spaces of increasing heights, until he finds himself into the main terrace.
In the garden, as a transition space between the main floor and the basement, a second terrace is proposed from where you can see everything: "La Silla" and "Las Mitras" hills, the lights from the city at night, as well as the architecture of the house, framed by an overwhelming Sierra Madre mountain.
