The site is located right in front of the Chipinque National Park, which is part of the Sierra Madre mountain range. Because of its suburban condition, and the topography of its surroundings, the house must had an sculptural treatment, due to its important presence in the context.

Within the diversity of such context, the house is intended to integrate to the surrounding landscape, following the horizontality of its natural topography. As a vertical counterpoint, we conceived the towers in which all the necessary mechanical equipments are hidden. The denial in the use of color responds two main reasons:

First, the search for a maximum contrast of pure, white volumes against of green and blue colors of nature, and second, to the real and psychological freshness that white architecture offers in a city with such a hot weather as Monterrey.

Such color treatment, added to the high of ceilings and crossed ventilation throughout the house, are essential factors for a good climatic functionality of the project.

The natural views of the Sierra Madre are exploited in all the areas facing south, while an internal patio was created as a visual space to be enjoyed both from the formal and informal dining rooms, providing additional light and fresh air to all the house.
